what drove me to write Dreamstone?
My hope is that Dreamstone will entertain and inspire you. When I first began this work, my intentions were simply to complete a novel and see it in print. That has changed.
I hope you are entertained and that you're able to step back from your hectic life, unplug, and exercise your imagination.
I also hope you will be inspired to dream and that you will realize you are a part of something grander than your own life. You are part of a world filled with dreamers, some dormant, others active. Even though things may be difficult right now, you have something positive to add to society, and your gifts are relevant.
Joebin Vassiter, the main character in Dreamstone, is a man full of potential, he's poised to contribute, but something happens to him in life that causes him to crawl into a hole and stay there, living a ho-hum life. He's given up on dreams and aspirations.
It's only when his world is about to fall apart that he begins to wonder ...Is there something more than just getting by? The answer changes his life.
